twilight

Twilight, so pure and dear to earth,

It beckons forth a nurtured birth

Of rapture rising o'er the land~

From peak to river rush, to sand.

An eerie-descent cosmic light,

Where dusk and dawn duel most the night~

Where seas are swollen with its feeding,

Alas we find a new day breeding.

Twilight so mysterious, yet

A little glimpse is all we get...

Like life, it's over much too fast~

Like love, sheer beauty unsurpassed.

A deep impression given me,

Oh Twilight, you are all I see.
