I felt you

last night

next to me

Your heart beat

with the most passion

that there could be

Your soft lips

pressed sweetly

against my cheek

The timeless tone

of your voice

as with love you speak

I felt your breath

last night

as it tickled my ear

Your arms held me

close and tight

i felt no fear

I saw your eyes

look on me

with love’s steady stream

Then i smiled

content with myself

and with my dream.
