In Yearning
My eyes burning from the crying. So worn out, so hungry to know, what it is about you that makes my insanity grow. Something about you, something crazy in me, such an effect on me, so completely. Why must you haunt me this way? All I see, night and day, all I feel every way, every blink and every wake. All I know is your name and your sweet way. Will we speak? Will we meet? You won’t let me near, to feel your touch. Wont let me hear, the sound of your voice. No one told me, no one warned me. I fell into this all by myself, I fell into you, all by myself. Now that you’ve seen me, all my insecurity, you’ve probably run from me. And I wait, and I listen. Though you’re far away from me, still I wait for you, and you are in my day. Probably too far from me, out of my reach. Hanging here for you, would climb to you, if you asked me to. Though you probably don’t even feel me. Wish I knew what you think, or if soon, you will speak.
