The Wanderer and the Minstrel
Soft whispers,
Echoing through the darkened ether of Cyberneverland,
An angel drifted into my life.
Bright eyes,
Flashing fire from the dainty picture of a fair Minstrel,
This lovely poet, child’s mother, wife.
Kind sympathy,
Warmly given to another lost and battered soul,
Adrift and lonely on the ethereal tide.
Impish smile,
Seen rarely if at all in the window of the viewer,
A precious gift from a brighter side.
Fresh wit,
Tossed capriciously at the uncluttered screen,
Like a summer rain in June.
Quiet grace,
Ever present in the deepest twilight,
A child's lullaby tune.
Tender heart,
Given to a battered wanderer,
In search of an end.
Life’s treasures,
To CyberMinstrel,
My friend.
